Introducing Stacks on Allbridge Core: Seamless Native USDCx Bridging
Bitcoin DeFi is experiencing a massive renaissance, and Stacks is at the forefront as the leading Bitcoin Layer-2 network. By bringing fully expressive smart contracts to Bitcoin, Stacks unlocks billions in dormant BTC capital, allowing developers to build directly on top of the industry's most secure settlement layer.
To support this rapidly growing ecosystem, we are thrilled to announce our latest integration. Stacks support for Allbridge Core has officially finished its development and technical audit. It is currently being deployed on mainnet and will be available to our users soon, bridging the gap between the premier Bitcoin L2 and the broader cross-chain landscape.

Shift to Native Stablecoins
Stacks is not a new blockchain for Allbridge; back in the beginning of 2024, we added its support to Allbridge Classic. During that time, our Ethereum-wrapped USDC (aeUSDC) grew to become the main stablecoin in the Stacks ecosystem.
However, as the broader blockchain industry shifts toward common standards to avoid liquidity fragmentation, Stacks took the initiative to partner with Circle and issue an official USDC token: USDCx.
While our own aeUSDC is not going anywhere soon, we highly urge our users to migrate to the new USDCx token. You can make this transition either through bridging or by swapping aeUSDC to USDCx directly on Stacks.
Because Stacks has migrated to a native stablecoin standard, it requires a solution built specifically for that purpose and we have just the product for native stablecoin bridging: Allbridge Core.
Limitless Cross-Chain Bridging
With aeUSDC, bridging was previously limited to Ethereum. Now, Allbridge Core unlocks the ability to bridge USDCx to and from any supported chain and stablecoin. This expands your options far beyond Ethereum to include numerous EVM networks, Solana, Tron, Stellar, Sui, and Algorand.
The flexibility extends to the assets themselves. Users are not restricted to just USDC-to-USDCx routes, as USDT-to-USDCx transfers are fully supported as well.
Smooth User Experience
Bridging should be straightforward. That is why the usual user comfort features you expect from Allbridge Core are fully integrated for Stacks. This includes automatic transaction receiving and the ability to send extra gas tokens, ensuring you have what you need to make your first transaction in a new wallet.
When it comes to connectivity, Allbridge Core supports most of the wallets in the space. If you are looking for recommendations, you can start either with Leather Wallet or Xverse. Both of these are widely used in the Stacks ecosystem and are available for mobile or as a Chrome extension.
Earn with Liquidity Pools
Let me remind you that Allbridge Core is not only for bridging stablecoins. You can also participate in the Stacks liquidity pool and earn 80% of the bridging fees to and from Stacks.
Once Stacks is available on Allbridge Core, you can deposit your liquidity directly here: https://core.allbridge.io/pools.
