Use ABR0 for Relayer Fees & Pay Less

ABR0 is the new version of our token, fully migrated to the OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token) standard to allow for seamless bridging with LayerZero support. Following the start of our 1:1 migration from ABR to ABR0 last year, we are excited to launch a major new utility for the token: paying Allbridge Core relayer fees.

Use ABR0 for Relayer Fees & Pay Less

Understanding the Relayer Fee

When you initiate a transfer on Allbridge Core, you pay for the initial transaction to send tokens to the bridge. However, finalizing the transfer on the destination chain requires additional transactions for cross-chain message delivery, token swaps, and final transfers.

While these transactions are trustless, they still require gas. The relayer fee exists to compensate the network of relayers that pay this gas to finalize your transaction.

Why Pay with ABR0?

Until recently, users had two options for paying this fee: deducting it from the transferred stablecoin amount or paying with native gas tokens on the source chain. Now, we have added a third option: payment with ABR0.

Using ABR0 is designed to be the superior choice for transfers. Here is how it works:

  • Simple Selection: You simply select ABR0 as the payment option in the "Relayer fee" setting when creating your transfer, and the bridge charges your ABRO balance.
  • Massive Discounts: The smart contract calculates the fee based on the current exchange rate and applies an additional 25-50% discount (depending on trading volume and price history).

Where to get ABR0?

This update reflects our commitment to making cross-chain transfers as efficient and affordable as possible. By holding and using ABR0, you not only utilize a versatile omnichain token but also unlock significant savings on every transaction. Try the new payment option on your next bridge and enjoy the discount!
